The Chairman and the Committee of the Gwent National Trust Association (GNTA) would like to invite you to become a member of the Association.

The GNTA was formed in 1980 and like all National Trust Associations and Centres is run on a voluntary basis to enable its members to support the National Trust by raising funds for Trust appeals and to become actively involved in the Trust’s work.  In order to join you must be a member of the National Trust or an associated organisation, a National Trust volunteer or an employee of the National Trust.

Residents of Gwent and surrounding areas are warmly invited to join the Association and participate in its activities.  There are plenty of opportunities throughout the year to meet other members, make new friends and support the Association in its fundraising activities.

The GNTA is a very active Association and provides many opportunities to meet and take part in a wide range of activities.  During the winter months there is a programme of illustrated lectures covering a wide range of subjects from National Trust Properties to Industrial Heritage, Conservation to Genealogy.  Throughout the rest of the year there is a programme of day trips to National Trust properties, private homes of historical interest, gardens and other places of interest.  From time to time, there are short breaks, (three or four days) to visit areas further afield.  There are also a number of other social events such as lunches, afternoon teas and drinks parties at various venues around the county to raise funds.  Details of these events are given in the Newsletter, which is issued twice a year and on the relevant web page.

The annual subscription is:

£15.00          Joint members

£ 9.00           Single person

£90.00          Life Membership (only available to Life Members of the National Trust)

The subscription year runs from 1st April to 31st March.  There is no joining fee.
