2008/09 talks calendar
The Gwent Association meets at 7.30pm at Glen-yr-Afon House Hotel, Usk on the fourth Tuesday of the month.  They are free to members.  Visitors may attend at a cost of £3.00 per event.

George Perkin MBE has studied architecture, both nationally and internationally, since the 50s. His talk concentrates on  Gaudi’s architectural influence in Spain.

Local resident, former headmistress and educational journalist, Elizabeth Baker  enlightens us with an insight into this important part of Roman life, drawn from her study of the Classics.

An illustrated talk from the National Trust’s Head Gardner about  this medieval castle and its world-famous gardens near Welshpool.

Tea or coffee is offered free after the talks.
